Interview:

1: What inspires you to write?
Subrat: Writing can’t be cultivated in a day. It takes years of motivation and inspiration. I like to observe people and their changing behaviour. I like to write every night because it helps me to get a sounds sleep. no matter how good or bad it is. I like to write simple things in simple words so that it reaches to maximum people.
2: How long does it take you to write a book? 
Subrat: If I have an idea, I can complete it in 2-3 months, if planned properly.
3: In which genre you would write your book other than this Genre!
Subrat: I have written poetry and romance. I would like to try suspense someday but it’s not easy :)
4: How did publishing your first book change your process of writing?
Subrat: I start getting reviews from my readers after publishing my first book and it helps me to identify the weak area. I worked on those points and then come up with the latest release.
5: What are common traps for aspiring writers?
Subrat: Everyone wants to become famous in a day. Everyone wants to start making money from their first book. It’s not so easy.
6: How often do you write?
Subrat: I normally write every night before I go to bed. I prefer to write at least one page every day. It keeps me going and motivated.
7: What does literary success look like to you?
Subrat: To be honest, it’s a great feeling. Definitely, I like when people start recognizing you because of my books. I get a chance to travel a lot because of my books. that’s the best part.
8: What are your hobbies, passion other than writing? 
Subrat: I love to travel. Fortunately, I am in a kind of corporate job that I get a chance to travel across the globe. I love to travel and meet new people. and then get an idea to pen down.
9: Which of your novels best describes you as a person?
Subrat: I have written only two books so far and both are fiction. Really don’t think any of them describe me. Sorry to disappoint you.
10: Have you ever written a character based on the real you in some part?
Subrat: Yes, some character get inspired from real life but it does not mean it is their biography. but definitely, some interesting incident of some real-life character inspire me a lot.
11: which is your favourite character in the book? why?
Subrat: Naina is my favourite character. The story revolves around her. This is not a typical love story. It talks about family values, traditions, middle-class struggles, practical problems in college life affairs and a lot more in a too much practical way. The Character of Naina fits best in it.
12: Can you tell us about your current projects?
Subrat: Currently, I have few ideas in my mind but I have not yet started writing it.
13: A message for all the aspiring authors.  
Subrat: Read a lot before you write. Set small goals. set your target audience before you start writing and stay positive.
