Review

Right From the Start. She Stole His Heart is a story by Prachi Gupta and Sanchit Garg. It’s a story of Radhika, Nishi, Sam, Manas and Sid. It’s a Journey of their college days to the days of love. This book will remind you of your college days.

The plot of the story is simple and predictable. The narration of the story is crisp and upto the point. One can connect to the story from the very first page. The pace of the story is too slow. The flow of the story is smooth.

I liked how the authors sequenced the events trying to keep the reader hooked throughout, but the slow pace of the story made it a bit tedious. The characters that the author made are appealing. I liked Radhika’s and sid’s character the most.

That first day in college, to the first crush, to the endless gossips, this book will remind you of your college days. The language used by the author is simple. The writing style of the author is apt trying to make it an engaging story.

The authors used various themes like love, friendship, keeping the reader invested in. There are drama and the dialogues keeping the reader hooked throughout.

Overall, it’s a simple story with a crisp narration and a predictable plot. A quick and a light read.

Summary

Who says best friends can’t be cruel, they are angels with horns.
Radhika Gupta has always lived a peaceful life. Until she enters college and befriends a few crazy people. Nishi, the short and confident girl who soon becomes her best friend; Siddharth, the crazy, happy-go-lucky guy, always desperate for a girlfriend; Sameer, the college hunk and Manas, who is simple, shy and secretive.
While Siddharth has challenged Nishi that he would find a girlfriend for himself before she can find a boyfriend, Radhika’s life is turned upside down by Sameer’s proposal. For he is the guy she never wants to go out with, while he is determined to date her.
Following a series of amusing events, endless proposals and accidental cupids, who will end up with whom? Will the love stories have a happy ending or will they be doomed?
Witty and riveting, Right From the Start She Stole His Heart is a pacy romantic comedy. It will make you believe in the fact that opposites attract each other.

“Angels with horns,” ha, great description and so true. I’m glad you were able to finish the book, I tend to quit if a book moves too slow. I am a believer in opposites attract, my husband and I were opposite in so many ways, but it worked. Thanks for sharing.
