Interview:Vidhya Thakkar- Indian blogger, Mumbai blogger, book blogger, Book blogger Mumbai, Book blogger India, lifestyle blogger, product reviewer

1)Can you tell our readers about yourself and your blog?
I am Dr.Amrita Basu (Misra) ENT and Head-Neck surgeon, a teacher in a medical college, author and blogger. I am a mommy to a six-year-old little girl and I love balcony gardening, reading, travelling and doodling with the little one.
2. Tells us how did you first get into blogging? What inspired you to start your blog?
I got bored shopping online and needed something challenging to occupy my mind other than what was happening back then. I am blogging for the last four years and it’s getting more fun with every passing year.
3: What type of networking do you think is better to enhance your traffic to the blog?
Tricky question.Network to your interest and strength. Online and offline people know when you fake it. Whether networking or not traffic starts with making content which your audience will like. If you don’t yet have an audience imagine an audience persona whom you want to write for, make a content plan and start writing. Traffic depends on SEO, Social media and definitely networking. Of this networking may be least scalable.
4. What do you think is the best service a blogger can provide to his readers?
Authentic and honest content.Absolutely no fake news.
5. What would be your ideal working environment?
A lot of green plants everywhere, cool weather birds chirping cup of tea and no traffic noise. This is true for both writing and managing patients.
6. How do you manage time to run your blog efficiently? How much time do you spend blogging?
About two to four hours per day I try to spend on my blog depending on work schedule. But this time is often not at a stretch.
7. What do you think is the best social media strategy for getting more visitors to a blog?
Share thirty percent of own post and seventy percent of other posts which you find useful, entertaining.

8. Would you encourage other people to make their blog?
It would depend on whether they like reading and writing persistently. If you don’t like to do any one of these two, blogging will be a tough journey.
If you like doing these two and have a passion to make the world wide web even more amazing, start a blog now!
9. How do you motivate yourself to keep the blog up and running?
This is where blogger friends and mastermind groups help a lot.
10: What was the biggest challenge that you faced while blogging?
Keeping consistency in all aspects of maintaining a blog.

11: message for all aspiring bloggers?
Keep believing in the story you want to tell and write to your strength.
I am taking my Alexa rank to the next level with Blogchatter
