19 July, 2018: Penguin Random House, India & Terribly Tiny Tales, the most celebrated micro-fiction platform, come together once again with an eclectic collection of compelling poems for every mood. Titled Ninety- Seven Poems, the book features contemporary poetry that packs a punch and is sure to resonate with millennials. The book is gorgeously designed in a special format, perfect for gifting. In 2017, TTT debuted with their book Terribly Tiny Tales which became a national bestseller.
In 2018, here comes a captivating book of some of the most brilliant contemporary poems that will find a reader in just about anyone.

The Book:
This is a book of pictures.

Of a park bench and a prescription.
And a toothbrush in a mug.
It’s got half-lit cigarettes and broken geysers.
And a cute apartment in Prague.

There’s a fortune cookie, some pigeons in cages and stars tumbling from the sky.
There’s the usual traffic, a digital wristwatch and a violin from Uncle James.

We can go on, but you’d rather see for yourself.

For we think this book has pictures.

But some say it’s full of poems.

After their first bestseller, Terribly Tiny Tales
and Penguin come together on the same page once again.

About Anuj Gosalia and Chintan Ruparel – Founders TTT

Anuj Gosalia

Anuj Gosalia’s first taste of startup life was when he joined the founding team of What’s On India, led by media veteran Atul Phadnis. Working with a lean and versatile team to bring new business, service existing clients and optimise the website’s algorithm all at once, was an introduction to the grueling nature of a startup. What’s On India later got funded by Sequoia Capital and was later sold for over 30 million dollars.
Anuj moved on to co-found a platform for artists called Bechain Nagri. Partnering with the country’s finest animation and illustration talent from the National Institute Of Design, Bechain Nagri manufactured and distributed premium sketchbooks and t-shirts in 12 cities across India. After a year and a half of pan-India exhibitions and retail distribution, Bechain Nagri found a small but cult following in the design community; before the founders went on to pursue their own interests.

Anuj then went on to build Not Like That, a product-led communications agency which created some defining work for brands like Hamleys, Girnar, 612 League, among others.

Anuj Gosalia is the Co-Founder and CEO at Terribly Tiny Tales – India’s most celebrated social storytelling platform reaching over 12 million people every week.
He believes in the power of stories and their ability to shape the world.

Chintan Ruparel

Chintan Ruparel spent 7 years in mainline advertising at India’s top agencies, having won 30+ local and international awards, like Cannes, D&AD, One Show, Clio, Adfest, Spikes Asia and several more; on some of the best brands like The Times of India, Bharti Airtel, Pepsico, National Geographic Channel, Godrej and many more. He also bagged Gold at the first edition of Longhand Awards – a popular online writing initiative judged by ad legends Neil French, Indra Sinha and Prasoon Joshi among others.
He then took a break from advertising and travelled the length and breadth of India for the next few months, figuring out his next venture, having turned down several lucrative offers from advertising agencies, local and overseas, and even a stint at Google India.
Four years on, he is now the Co-Founder & Chief Creative Officer at Terribly Tiny Tales – the most loved micro-fiction platform on the social web, with 75,000+ writers from around the world, and a weekly organic reach of 12 million. He also looks after Terribly Tiny Talkies, which has creatively produced some of the best short films to come out of India in the last two years, 5 of which were nominated at the 62nd Jio Filmfare Awards 2017, among gathering other accolades like winning the Best Short Film at Mumbai International Film Festival, 2016. He has also been on the first ever short film panel at NFDC’s Knowledge Series at Film Bazaar in 2016; and debuted with a memorable session at the Jaipur Literature Festival 2017.
In his free time, he hunts for the brightest young minds to collaborate with, and has been invited to speak at various media colleges. He enjoys travelling alone, and has even given a TEDx talk on the same.
